Cookie Policy & Consent
We use only one type of optional cookie: Google Analytics, and it loads only after you click “Accept Analytics”. We use no advertising, marketing or retargeting cookies.
01 What Are Cookies & Browser Storage
Cookies and browser “local storage” are small pieces of data saved on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember choices you have made or, with your permission, measure how the site is used.
02 Cookies & Storage We Use
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bielco_cookie_consent, bielco_cookie_consent_version | Strictly necessary (browser storage) | Bielco | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, and which policy version you saw. | Until you clear browser data |
bielco_contact_timestamps | Strictly necessary (browser storage) | Bielco | Records when you last submitted the contact form so we can block spam (max 2 per hour). It stays in your browser and is never sent to us. | Until you clear browser data (entries older than 1 hour are ignored) |
_ga | Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics | A random ID that lets Google Analytics count unique and returning visitors. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_9JJW9MLCF4 | Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics | Keeps session information such as session count and engagement time. | Up to 2 years |
Strictly necessary storage is needed for the Website to remember your choice and block spam, so it does not need consent. It never leaves your browser. Analytics cookies are optional and are set only with your consent.
03 How Consent Works
- Before you choose: Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
- “Accept Analytics”: Google Analytics loads and sets the
_gacookies listed above. - “Decline” or closing the banner: Google Analytics never loads.
- Advertising signals: ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are permanently set to “denied” through Google Consent Mode, whatever you choose.
04 Change or Withdraw Your Choice
Click “Cookie Settings” at the top of this page or in the website footer at any time. If you switch to “Decline”, analytics stops and the _ga cookies are deleted. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Block all cookies.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
- All websites: Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
05 Policy Changes
When this policy changes, we update the “Last Updated” date. If we add a new type of cookie or change how we use analytics, the cookie banner will appear again and ask for your choice. Continuing to browse is never treated as consent.
